Product Handling

The sight of delicious dishes prepared with Mr. Lucky fresh vegetables has increased customer loyalty because of our commitment to the quality of our products and distribution services. This would not be possible without the basic techniques of receiving, storing, and handling.

Receiving
It is recommended for Mr. Lucky products to be received by our customers with your help and personal verification of the following aspects:

Product temperature:  Because our products are highly perishable, it is important to receive them within a temperature range of 1°C to 4.4°C (34°F to 40°F).

Quality:  Our products must appear fresh, with no visible flaws.

Order Accuracy:  While inspecting and moving our product, it is suggested for another person to immediately store our products in a refrigerated room to maintain the cold chain.  It is recommended that this procedure is done as quickly as possible to avoid exposing our product to inappropriate conditions and temperatures.

Storage
We recommend handling the product as minimally and carefully as possible because all fresh produce is highly perishable and sensitive.

Our product should be immediately be stored in accordance with our conditions of temperature and relative humidity specific to each item, and take into consideration the susceptibility to ethylene to prevent acceleration in their maturation.

Checking the temperature of the refrigeration or storage site is recommended so our product stays within the suggested temperature range (1°C to 4.4°C, or 34°F to 40°F).

It is important to follow a proper product rotation using the "first in, first out" rule, meaning product that arrived at the warehouse first should be used, before more recent arrivals of product.
